Musings on Tracy Anderson

Since my friend Laurel wrote her fabulous post, Tracy Anderson the Black Swan of Fitness, I have been thinking a lot about how dangerous her message of looking good at extreme costs truly is. To keep pushing the envelope means constantly experimenting and reinventing, but on live humans. Anderson herself broke her nose while demonstrating an exercise to Madonna on a piece of suspended equipment she invented to help open the hips called "the cage". Seriously, if you do 90-120 minutes a day of any high intensity exercises you will change your body. And if you eat baby food, you will lose weight. This isn't magic!
