Review: Acoustibuds Sport Tips EPB (Ear Pod Bud)

Acoustibuds Sport Tips EPB work as well as the standard Acoustibuds - comfortable with great sound!

5/5 Stars - You Must Try Acoustibuds!

I was contacted by the PR folks at Acoustibuds recently asking if I would be willing to review the new Acoustibuds Sport Tips EPB, specifically made for the Ear Bud Pod as well as all forward facing ear buds.

I enthusiastically said YES!

Several years ago I had the privilege of trying the original acoustibuds, and I loved them. They increased the sound quality of my classic ear buds, while at the same time making them more comfortable with less slipping. I gave acoustibuds a great review on Blogcritics.

The new tips have a slightly different shape to accommodate the forward facing speakers, but otherwise were relevantly similar. Like the originals, the new Acoustibuds Sport Tips EPB come in several colors and sizes. The part that goes in the ear looks the same. It is the connection to the ear bud itself that changed to suit the new ear bud design.

They are very comfortable and help the ear buds stay in your ear, with no slipping even during exercise. The Acoustibuds also improve the sound quality. This is really noticeable if you use the Acoustibuds for a few days and then try plain ear buds again.

At a MSRP of $14.99 for a set of two, Acoustibuds are a totally affordable way to increase the sound in your iPod and other ear buds. I was happy to get a set free to review, but would also happily pay $14.99 for these.

You must try these!

Gratitude on Thanksgiving Day

Gratitude

From Downtown Brooklyn See also File:Lower Man...

As 2012 draws to a close I increasingly feel the need to reconnect with important people in my life and thank them. If you are reading this, thank you for the connection and the support!

I enter into my second year in New York with a wonderful job at Real Pilates, a robust and growing private client list, and emerging consulting opportunities that will have me working again with old friends and making new ones in other parts of the world. Life is good!

At the same time that I am embracing opportunity, I am also faced with endings. My father recently fell, spent three weeks in hospital, and I moved him to an assisted/independent living facility. In addition, I recently signed the paperwork for my mother to be in hospice care until she passes of liver cancer. While this is a big part of why I returned to the states, it is also a deeply difficult and trying experience in ways I never imagined. I am so very grateful to be here to assist them as much as possible.

And apparently NYC is now a hurricane spot. Instead of swapping hurricane season for winter, as I had envisioned, I now have both. We live in a skyscraper near the South Street Seaport, and were without power for a week and heat/hot water for about 11 days after Sandy. But we were lucky. Many of our friends and neighbors lost everything. I am grateful to have simply been inconvenienced.

A daily gratitude practice is a truly powerful catalyst for positive life changes, and if you don't have one, Thanksgiving in the US is the perfect day to start one. Simply take some time every day to write down everything you are grateful for. Some days it may simply be that you woke up and finally had a hot shower.
